Prephix™ was created initially for the private sector to deploy a Peoplesoft cloud based solution in 1999. Since then, Prephix™ has been adopted by the DOD and has been deployed globally to meet the demanding needs of the war-fighter. Prephix™ enables mission critical Command and Control (C2) applications to run in a multi-user non-persistent virtual environment.
Prephix™ enables users to seamlessly share a single installation of an application while making the application "user" or "profile" aware. Prephix supports non-persistent virtual environments by centrally storing critical user application data and configuration.
Prephix™ enables centralized configuration and distribution of a common baseline to remote systems. Applications can be remotely configured to meet the changing needs of the end users and the environment (e.g. map data, data feeds, client server configuration).
Prephix™ application provisioning and virtualization (P&V) technology enables applications to operate natively in a multi-user environment. Prephix™ addresses application compatibility issues without altering the application. Prephix™ enables users to seamlessly share a single installation of an application while making the application "user" or "profile" aware.
Prephix™ P&V technology is very unique hybrid process. Unlike other industry standard virtualization technologies, Prephix™ virtualized applications are fully integrated with the operating system and are able to communicate with other installed applications. Prephix™ manipulates the environment, leveraging inherent Microsoft capabilities, to allow multiple simultaneous instances of an application to operate concurrently within an operating system.

EMS offers responsive in depth remote technical support to address implementation strategies, application integration issues, customized application plug-ins, Prephix configuration and implementation questions. EMS personnel have an extensive knowledge of the most commonly used Command and Control (C2) applications currently
Remote support may be purchased in 40 hour increments. The standard Period of Performance (POP) is one year from date purchase.
EMS support is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 8:00 PST. With advance notice, off hour Help-desk support can be provided to accommodate exercises and mission critical events.
